Sports at the same time has become a quintessential factor in worldwide business: a sector in which clubs, associations and sportspeople need to be professionally managed, financing concepts and sales strategies need to be realised.
At the same time the cooperation with global businesses, which are turning to sports events as a promotion and image platform for their products and services, is becoming increasingly intense. This especially goes for the producers of sporting goods, who hope that their commitment will gain them an authentic and sales increasing positioning within the popular sports market. On every side fundamental management skills as well as know-how on the distinctive features of sports economics are sought after.
In the programme International Sports Management, business management and economic fundamentals e.g. Management, Microeconomics, Marketing or Finance are complemented by specific consolidating courses such as Association Law, Licensing, Sponsoring or an Introduction to Sports Medicine.
